My studio is located in the heart of Mölndals old industrial area, Kvarnbyn. I´ve been working with clay for among 25 years and the latest 10 years as a professional artist. As I started out it was more of a coincident that clay was to become my material. I didn't´t really thought I had any other choices. Though I´ve been choosing clay many times during the years.

I also like teaching and tutoring a lot and it gives me a kind of satisfaction and input in my own work. To hang out with young creative people is important to more forward I think.

I have been working parti time as a ceramic-teatcher for five years and now I am trying new areas for teaching with is as an art-teacher with focus on painting, drawing and contemporary vs traditional art. It is very exciting and I like it. Sharpen my senses.

My own work is very much influenced by Wabi sabi and the Philosofy of the non perfect and have a kind of sloppy expression. Nevertheless the sensivity and tactile part of the making process is very important. My theme is not always to bee seen clearly in my work, but it´s there if you take the time to look for it. It is about the hidden part of every human beeing. The sides we do not dare to show in order to risk to be judged by others. The weakness, the ugly parts, non streamline or according to society. Also the thing I grow up with that women not supposed to be too much. And as a Swede (male or female or no particular gender) we are not suppose to take place or think we are anything special or better then anybodyelse.No one is like anybody else. That is the whole idea of being human. That is the whole idea of living  and thats every persons value of its own. That you are you and nobody else can be you. We choose our own ways to be seen.Or not seen.
